A 4-year-old boy drowned in a private pond on Sunday and his 8-year-old sister was hospitalized in critical condition, authorities said.
A story from the AP says, the children's names were being withheld because not all family members had been notified.
Rescuers found the girl face down in the water on the bank, the Morrow County sheriff's office said. She was flown by helicopter to Akron Children's Hospital, authorities said.
Divers found the boy about 4:50 p.m., the sheriff's office said. He was pronounced dead at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital, authorities said.
The pond is located on private property in Troy Township, which sits on the line of Morrow and Richland counties about 50 miles north of Columbus.
