Dr. Steigerwald was given the award by Ohio State President E. Gordon Gee.

Greg Rose, the Director of OSUM, said of Steigerwald, “Those of us that have worked with Dave know the impact he has on his students.”
Dr. Steigerwald graduated from The Ohio State University in 1982 and received his doctorate in 1987. He currently teaches Twentieth Century America and has written 5 books and several essays.
