The Marion Popcorn Festival’s Saturday night main-stage attraction has been revealed. The band Survivor revealed on their website they would be in Marion for the festival on September 12th.
Formed in 1978, the band achieved its most significant hit in 1982 when “Eye of the Tiger” was certified double-platinum and spent 6 weeks at number one on the pop charts.
That song was the theme to Rocky III.
Other hits include “Burning Heart”, “The Search is Over”, and “High on You”.
The Marion Popcorn Festival runs September 10th through the 12th. Sawyer Brown has previously been announced as the country act for Friday evening.
