Radio Station Offers Million Dollar Golf Outing

WDCM will once again host their Go For The Green Golf Scramble with over $1,000,000 in prizes available. The 4 person scramble will be held on Saturday, September 26th at Whetstone Golf Course.

Registration begins at 7:30 AM with a shotgun start scheduled for 9 AM.

The cost is $75 per golfer, which covers 18 holes of golf with cart, a steak dinner with adult beverages for those over the age of 21, door prizes, team prizes, proximity prizes, and entry into the “Go For The Green” prizes.

The winning foursome will win four tickets to an upcoming OSU football game.

Modern Woodmen of America Representative Roger Ruth is sponsoring a $25,000 hole-in-one prize on hole #3. Anyone sinking their tee shot automatically wins.

Marion Community Credit Union is presenting a $50,000 putting contest in which one golfer from each team will participate in a three-putt shoot out for the chance to win $50,000 for his or her team.

Finally, five golfers will have the opportunity to face hole #18 with $1,000,000 on the line thanks to Delmar Distributing of Waldo. Each golfer who sinks a hole-in-one earns the cash.
