Important Deadlines Fast Approaching 2012 DCP/ACRE Programs

Producers need to contact their local FSA office before the June 1, 2012, deadline. Enrollment into Direct and Counter-Cyclical Program (DCP) and Acreage Crop Revenue Election Programs (ACRE) have a yearly signup period that will end at the end of this month. These two programs are designed to support producers who take a risk in the production of growing crops. Contact the Wyandot County FSA office at 419-294-2127 for more information or to set up an appointment.

Those producers who had elected to enroll into the ACRE program in a previous year are required to report production for the 2011 crop. July 15th is the final date to report yields on covered commodities for last year's crops. If you are an ACRE producer who has not completed this report, please call for an appointment today.
