H. Wayne Carpenter, 84, lived in Mount Gilead.
Date: He died Tuesday, May 6th, 2008 in the morning at Woodside Village Care Center.

Survived By: Wayne's sister survives him along with one brother, numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and wonderful neighbors. His four brothers preceded him in death along with his parents, three sisters-in-law, and one brother-in-law.
Funeral Services: Snyder Funeral Home, in Mount Gilead, is handling the arrangements. Private graveside services with military honors provided by the V.F.W. Post 8054 and AmVets Post 87 will be held in Bethel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Morrow County Joint Veterans Council to purchase a brick in memory of Wayne for the Veteran's Memorial at the courthouse and sent in care of Snyder Funeral Home, 76 South Main Street, Mount Gilead, Ohio 43338.
