Nature Detective Program
All ages will enjoy nature by doing a different activity each week.  Held each Saturday afternoon June-August at 1:30 pm  See Schedule

Hooked on Fishing - Not on Drugs
Statewide fishing program for youth accompanied by an adult.  Bait & equipment furnished  See Schedule

Scheduled Special Programs
Wild Weeks, "Wee" Discover, Teen Green and new programs at the park in 2001.  See Schedule

Scheduled Special Programs
July 9, 10, 11 Teen Green - 9am - 11:30am Older youth (grades 7 & up who are interested in nature will look at environmental issues through activities & projects
July 30,31, Aug 1 Wild Week - Youth's 6-12 yrs explore the park, construct a take-home project, plan ways to live in harmony with nature and earn a Jr. Naturalist patch.  9:30-11:30am
Aug 13, 14, 15 Wild Week - Youth's 6-12 yrs explore the park, construct a take-home project, plan ways to live in harmony with nature and earn a Jr. Naturalist patch.  9:30-11:30am
Sept 13, 20, 27 "Wee Discover" preschoolers (ages3-5) accompanied by an adult, learn about nature thru hikes, activities, stories, songs, books, and take-home projects  10:30am or 1pm for 1 hr.
Sept 15 & 29 Storytelling Swap  at 8pm
Oct 4, 11, 18. 25 "Wee Discover" preschoolers (ages3-5) accompanied by an adult, learn about nature thru hikes, activities, stories, songs, books, and take-home projects  10:30am or 1pm for 1 hr.
